Youth Red Cross Wing Launched at St. Francis College

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) wing was inaugurated at St. Francis College, Koramangala, with the aim of motivating YRC volunteers and fostering their commitment to service. Mr. AB Shetty, Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society Bangalore Urban District and Para Legal Volunteer for DLSA Bangalore Rural District, led the inauguration, emphasizing the importance of First Aid, human values, service to humanity, health, and leadership. He encouraged volunteers to embody these values in their efforts to serve the community.

Following the inauguration, a First Aid and Disaster Management training session was conducted by Dr. Nagarjuna, a national-level trainer. The training equipped volunteers with vital skills to handle emergencies and contribute meaningfully to disaster preparedness and response, further enhancing their capacity to serve society.
