Youth Red Cross Unit Launched

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit at Oxford Medical College, Bangalore, was officially inaugurated by Mr. A.B. Shetty, Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Bangalore Urban District. During the inauguration, Mr. Shetty inspired the volunteers to uphold the 7 Red Cross principles and emphasized the importance of selfless service to humanity. His motivating words encouraged the new volunteers to actively contribute to the community through their efforts.

As part of the inaugural activities, a First Aid training program was conducted for the volunteers on July 21st, equipping them with essential life-saving skills. The event was attended by Mr. Tasleel, Vice Chairman, alongside Dean and Director Dr. Bharathi, Dr. Mohan, faculty members, and a group of enthusiastic volunteers, all of whom contributed to the success of the program.
