The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Bengaluru, in collaboration with Asha workers from various wards of Bangalore city, conducted an impactful awareness campaign focused on key environmental and sustainability issues. The program aimed to educate the community on the importance of protecting the environment, conserving water, planting saplings, and avoiding the use of plastic. Given that Asha workers are consistently in the field and engaged with the public, they play a crucial role in propagating these essential messages to society, ensuring widespread awareness and community action.
The event saw the participation of several dignitaries, including ADC Mr. Krishnamurthy, DHO Dr. Meti, Chairman of IRCS Urban District Mr. AB Shetty, Vice Chairman Mr. Tasleel, and MC member Mr. Ravi Kumar, along with many others who actively supported and contributed to the cause.
