Training for Para Legal Volunteers

A training program for para-legal volunteers and free legal aid advocates was inaugurated by the Principal District Judge, who urged participants to play an active role in assisting mentally ill individuals, protecting exploited senior citizens, preventing child sexual harassment, and supporting other vulnerable groups in need. The judge emphasized the critical role of legal aid in safeguarding the rights of the marginalized in society.

This training, organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) (R), was held at the City Civil Court in Bangalore on October 13th. It was led by Member Secretary and Senior Civil Judge Mr. Sandeep Salian and his dedicated team, who provided valuable insights and guidance to equip the volunteers with the skills needed to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
