On June 26th, the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was successfully inaugurated by Sri A.B. Shetty, Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Bangalore Urban District, at the Government Arts College, Bangalore. The event, organized by the Youth Red Cross (YRC), NSS, and NCC, aimed to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of drug abuse and illicit trafficking on society, while emphasizing the importance of united efforts to combat this escalating issue.
The program saw active participation from the college's Principal, Sri Srinivas Naik, alongside coordinators and other dignitaries, whose presence contributed to the event's success. Through speeches and activities, the event highlighted the collective responsibility of the community in addressing and preventing drug abuse, furthering the cause of a healthier, drug-free society.
