First aid Training

First aid is the initial, essential medical care provided in good faith to an injured or ill person, aimed at preserving life and preventing further harm until professional medical assistance is available. Since 2011, the Indian Red Cross Society, Bangalore, has been authorized by the IRCS National Headquarters to offer First Aid training programs. These programs are designed for MNCs, factories, students, and the general public, ensuring communities are equipped with vital life-saving skills.

Be a Good Samaritan

A Good Samaritan is someone who, acting in good faith and without any expectation of payment or reward, voluntarily steps forward to provide immediate assistance or emergency care to a person in need—whether they are injured in an accident, facing a medical emergency, or caught in a critical situation. This is done without any legal obligation or special relationship with the person in distress.

What is good Samaritan law says

The Good Samaritan Law allows individuals to voluntarily provide immediate assistance or emergency care to those injured in accidents or medical emergencies, without any expectation of payment or prior duty of care. It protects Good Samaritans from legal or personal harassment for their life-saving efforts, encouraging bystanders to help road accident victims without fear of repercussions
