World Blood Donors Day

World blood donor day is conducted at Sri Kalabairaveshwara Swamy Ayurvedic medical College, Hospital and research Centre at Vijayanagara Bangalore by Redcross Bangalore Urban District branch on 14/06/2025. The programme is inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Shri Shri Saumynatha Swamiji and others. After welcoming the gathering by Mr Rajesh Secretary, Mr AB Shetty Chairman has addressed the audience by explaining the importance of Red cross and significance of World blood donor Day. Sri Swamiji has called upon the students and the faculty to dedicate their service to the society as doctors to fulfil their commitments and also by donating blood. He also appreciated the commitment and sacrifice of blood donors who have donated blood for more than 25 times and instrumental to save many lives. Dr Kiran M. Goud Principal of the college spoke and admired the commitment of the donors. Mr. Prashanth Patil EA represented the DC, and appreciated, regarding different humanitarian activities of Red cross. All invited Blood donors who have donated more than 25 times were felicitated. Ms Madhura Ashok Kumar regular Blood donor and two other blood donors felicitated have also spoke and motivated the students to come forward to donate blood. Blood Donation camp is inaugurated by Shri HT Nagesh MC member state and Shri Ashwath Narayana Tresurer in the morning and about 120 units are collected.
