Youth Red Cross

Recognizing the importance of preparing the younger generation, the Government of Karnataka has issued a historic mandate for all colleges to affiliate with the Indian Red Cross Society under the Youth Red Cross banner. Each college has its own Youth Red Cross Unit, and through this initiative, students of affiliated colleges become ‘Ambassadors’ of the Indian Red Cross Society, Karnataka State Branch. As Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru famously said, "The youth of today is the driving force of tomorrow." It is our responsibility to shape the youth into socially responsible citizens. The Youth Red Cross is a student movement organized in colleges to nurture this future leadership.
