Urban Family Welfare Centre
The Urban Family Welfare Centre of the Indian Red Cross Society, Bangalore Urban, was established in 1969 and operates at BBMP's Sirsi Circle Maternity Home, Chamarajpet, Bengaluru. The center is dedicated to the care of mothers and children, ensuring safe motherhood and promoting the importance of breastfeeding. Additionally, it protects children through vaccination against six major diseases. The welfare center also actively participates in the Central Government's Pulse Polio Program, as well as Measles & Rubella Vaccination drives, contributing to the health and well-being of the community.
